Despite volatility in 2022, Brazilian equities has remained one of the strongest performing emerging markets with the MSCI Brazil Index in April experiencing a 41% pick up and strong commodity prices reflecting this. That positivity dampened on July 15th of the market falling by –2.4% in US dollar terms.
