Investors face up to the impacts of high interest rates and recession

As inflation hits a 40-year high in the US and UK, central banks have announced further rate increases to tackle the issue. In July, Q2 earnings were released and despite minimal amount of companies having already submitted their earnings, Paul Duncombe, Head of Multi-Asset Product, UK and Europe, is concerned that consensus expectations for the rest of the year are too optimistic and fail to reflect increasing risk of weak growth.
